EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Please see the news article on our website titled "Board Seeks New Executive Director" in order to get information about how to apply for that open position.

The Center is seeking to fill two Community Support Specialists positions.  These employment opportunities are available at the Center's North Capitol location.  Community Support Specialists assist consumers in obtaining benefits, securing housing, receiving primary healthcare services, stabilizing on psychiatric medications, and linking consumers with all needed services.  Community Support Specialists must have their own transportation since they must drive to and from appointments, as well as transporting consumers; mileage is reimbursed at the federal rate.  These staff members are also paid separately to be on call, and are required to work two evenings per month and one Saturday every eight weeks.  Staff members are provided with a Center-issued cell phone for business use, and also with a notebook computer in order to interact with the Center's electronic medical record.  The salary for Community Support Specialist is $36,000 to $40,000.  Applicants must possess a Bachelors degree and be able to pass a criminal background check.  In order to apply for a position, contact Nola Murphy, the Center's Human Resources Director (please copy and paste your resume into the message box on the e-mail page).
