ART OF TRANSFORMATION
Our first fundraising event, Art of Transformation, was introduced in May of 2015 in the heart of Georgetown. Over 100 guests joined us to applaud the artwork created by our talented clients.
Art of Transformation is now our annual signature event (usually held in April or May) and continues to attract new artists, sponsors, and guests. Throughout the year, our artist-clients(many of whom participate in our expressive arts therapy program) create their pieces, which include paintings, drawings, fiber arts, sculpture, and other materials. All of the artwork is available for purchase, with clients earning half of sales as their commission. In addition, guests can try their luck in our raffle drawing, including the Grand Prize raffle – a gift certificate for two ROUNDTRIP airline tickets!
