McClendon Center is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, whose mission is to continuously improve the safety and quality of care to the public through the provision of health care accreditation and related services that support performance improvement in health care organizations.
Because of our belief in that mission, we voluntarily pursued the Joint Commission accreditation process in 1999. We received our initial accreditation that year as a behavioral health care provider and have since consistently challenged ourselves to maintain the Joint Commission’s performance standards in the delivery of our behavioral health care services. Through subsequent Joint Commission surveys, we have routinely demonstrated our commitment to the Joint Commission standards by successfully being granted three-year periods of accreditation renewal since 2002.
