Art Therapy is an integrative mental health treatment that enriches lives through active art making, creativity, and applied psychological theory. At the Day Program, clients regularly engage in art therapy as part of their clinical groups.
The #1 rule in the art studio is: “Remember, we are ALL artists! We are here to be creative and express ourselves, NOT to make perfect art!”
In the art studio, clients process their thoughts and feelings through various media and share their work with the group. Art making provides a safe space to express oneself and explore emotions and experiences.
We’re excited to make available this online shop where clients can share and sell their artwork with you! This shop, along with our seasonal, in-person art shows, helps build clients’ self esteem and autonomy.
Proceeds from every purchase go directly to our clients.
